Overhaul of the We Are Freshers brand, one of the largest mass-audience campaigns across Bournemouth, with a view to boosting engagement.
The combination of handwritten and sans-serif typefaces was used to create contrast in a distinctive wordmark. Similarly, two degrees of wave motif were used to evoke Bournemouth’s coastal identity. Five colourways were created, with two hero palettes, for use across different platforms, allowing variety whilst still tying the brand together. With a focus on shape and form, the concept is future-proofed by allowing flexibility in medium and colour.
The We Are Freshers identity was designed to work across any format or platform, from social media assets to large-scale environmental graphics.
A variety of print and digital collateral was created to support this campaign.
