The Varsity Tournament is held on one day every year between sports teams from the University of Southampton and the University of Portsmouth.
This was produced while I was SUSUtv’s Assistant Station Manager. As well as covering as much of the day as possible, we considered it a priority to have a timely and high quality results announcement video. This led to our four roaming teams uploading their footage, destined for individual videos, as it was captured through the day, and I edited together a highlights package back at our studio.
Thanks to the station’s efficiency, our video was published within five minutes of the results being announced at the ceremony, and before any official accounts had posted the final score.
For this project, I edited and graded the footage (including S-Log) for a uniform look and also created the Varsity series identity and titles.
This project was completed in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
